WEATHER QUESTIONS

The weather in West Michigan is often unpredictable. For this reason we have a policy that strives to keep our customers satisfied while limiting disruptions to our other scheduled appointments.

Our goal is to make accurate decisions based on our experience and our safety while providing the service quality that you expect.

If you are not comfortable with the weather on the day of your appointment, our commitment is to discuss a solution that fits your calendar and ours while honoring our other scheduled appointments. 

What do you do if it’s raining or snowing?

  • Rain and snow can obviously vary from light to heavy with little or strong wind. If rain or snow is light to moderate and not affecting the windows when we arrive for your appointment, we generally continue the job as scheduled.  
  • If it is raining or snowing heavily and/or blowing against the glass, we suspend all work outside and continue work inside. If the weather clears during our visit, we will resume outside work. When the weather does not clear during our visit, we will then return within 2-3 clear days to finish the exterior portion of the job. 

What do you do when it’s below freezing?

  • We regularly clean windows in below freezing temperatures using an anti-freeze mixture. If temperatures are too cold and we feel we cannot effectively clean your windows, we will discuss and work with you and your schedule to complete your job in a timely manner.

Will the rain or snow make my windows dirty?

  • Rain and snow generally do not immediately get your windows dirty, the build-up of dust and dirt on the surface mixed with rain or snow does. Our cleaning solutions and techniques leave the glass surface spotless, therefore, rain and snow on your window dries completely clear.
